Monuments, Towers and Commemorative Structures

A war memorial is a building, monument, statue or other structure raised to commemorate a war or a victory, or to honor those who were killed or wounded in one. War memorials take many forms, from simple plaques and obelisks to substantial civic buildings, and stand in towns and cities across the world as places of public remembrance.
