Skyscrapers and Office Towers

Skyscrapers and tall office buildings that house commercial tenants, from the first steel-framed towers of Chicago and New York in the late nineteenth century to the glass and steel towers of London, Hong Kong and the Gulf. A building belongs here when its cited article describes it as a skyscraper, a tower or an office building. Buildings described mainly as the home of one company, or as a campus, sit in the headquarters group instead, and shopping buildings sit in the retail group.
