Fairfield House is a Grade II listed, Italianate two-story house built around 1850 on Kelston Road in Newbridge, on the northwest outskirts of Bath, England, probably by the builder James Wilson. It became the residence of Haile Selassie I, Emperor of Ethiopia, during the five years he spent in exile in England from 1936 to 1941, after he purchased it following the death of its previous owner; the renovated house gave him a large double drawing room, a dining room, and rooms where he met contacts and supporters. Haile Selassie donated the house to the City of Bath in 1958, after which it served as a care home until 1993 and has since been used as a community day centre, and it holds particular significance to the UK Rastafari movement.
