Villa Guardamangia is a mid-18th-century townhouse in Gwardamangia, Pietà, Malta, built of limestone in a vernacular and Neoclassical style and remodeled around 1900 by owner Sir Augusto Bartolo into the palace-like residence that survives today. Princess Elizabeth, later Queen Elizabeth II, and Prince Philip lived there from 1949 to 1951 while Philip served as a Royal Navy officer on the island, and the Queen later called those years among the best of her life. The villa fell into disrepair over subsequent decades until the Government of Malta acquired it in October 2019 and placed it in the care of Heritage Malta for restoration as a Grade 2 scheduled monument.
