Noble Hall

Palaces and Aristocratic Residences

Noble Hall, also known as the Frazer-Brown-Pearson Home, is a Greek Revival plantation house in Auburn, Alabama, built in 1854 to a design by the architect Henry Foster. The house was built with rock masonry walls eighteen inches thick, eight rooms with twelve-foot ceilings, and full-width cantilevered balconies carried on four monumental Doric columns on both its front and rear facades. It originally served as the main residence of a 2,000-acre cotton plantation, and it became the first structure in Lee County to be added to the National Register of Historic Places, on March 24, 1972.
