Butler Greenwood Plantation is a plantation on U.S. Route 61 about 1.4 miles north of St. Francisville, Louisiana. Its main house, a raised cottage style plantation house typical of the region, was built in 1810, and the 44 acre grounds include formal gardens and outbuildings dating from the 1790s and the 1850s. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the house is furnished with period pieces including oil paintings, carpets and a French grand piano, and the property, still maintained by descendants of the original family, is open for house tours with overnight stays offered in bed and breakfast cottages on the grounds.
