International and Heritage Organizations

Organizations working across national borders on architectural documentation, conservation and heritage protection: UNESCO's World Heritage Centre, the International Council on Monuments and Sites, the World Monuments Fund, Docomomo International's documentation of modern movement architecture, CIAM as the historical international modernist congress, and national heritage bodies such as English Heritage and the National Trust for Historic Preservation.
