Headless Pyramid

The Headless Pyramid, also known as Lepsius XXIX or Steinpyramide XXIX, is the surviving remnant of a pyramid complex at Saqqara. Its owner is unclear: it is suspected to belong either to the Fifth Dynasty pharaoh Menkauhor or the Tenth Dynasty pharaoh Merikare, both of whom are known to have built a pyramid, though other candidates including Amenemhat I and an obscure Eighth Dynasty ruler named Ity have also been proposed.
