The Old-New Synagogue in the Josefov district of Prague, Czech Republic, is an Orthodox Jewish synagogue built around 1270 in the Gothic style, making it one of the earliest Gothic buildings in the city. Known as Europe oldest active synagogue and the oldest surviving medieval synagogue built to a twin-nave design, it was originally called the New or Great Synagogue and only gained the name Old-New once further synagogues were built in Prague in the sixteenth century.
