The Great Synagogue of Florence is an Orthodox Jewish synagogue on Via Luigi Carlo Farini in Florence, Italy, completed in 1882 to a design by Mariano Falcini, Vincenzo Micheli and Marco Treves. Built in an Italian and Moorish Revival style to mark the Jewish emancipation granted in the Grand Duchy of Tuscany in 1848, it is crowned by three domes and finished in alternating bands of travertine and granite, with corner towers topped by onion domes. Its interior is densely patterned in Moorish Revival decoration, and the building also houses the Jewish Museum of Florence.
