Facts
Partially Attested
Completed YearDate is for Taira no Kiyomori's construction that gave the shrine its present arrangement, credited to his time as governor of Aki Province in 1168. The shrine itself was traditionally founded earlier (a first torii said to date to 569), the honden was rebuilt again in 1571, and the current torii dates to 1875, so no single year covers the whole complex.
