Long Grass Plantation is a historic house and national historic district along what was the Roanoke River basin in Mecklenburg County, Virginia, most of which was flooded in the 1950s to form the Buggs Island Lake, also known as the John H. Kerr Reservoir. The house was built about 1800 by George Tarry on land belonging to his father, Samuel Tarry, and the plantation encompassed approximately 2,000 acres.
