The House of the Seven Gables was a historic octagonal house at the corner of Clark and Bloxham streets in Mayo, Florida, designed by James Mitchell after he was inspired by Nathaniel Hawthorne's novel of the same name and built by Mack Koon in the 1880s. Seven of its eight sides were gabled, with the eighth opening into a rear wing holding the kitchen and dining rooms, while the octagonal section held three bedrooms and a parlor. The house was included in A Guide to Florida's Historic Architecture in 1989 though it was never listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and it was dismantled in 2021-2022 after storm damage left it beyond repair.
