Rippon Lodge is one of the oldest surviving houses in Prince William County, Virginia, built around 1747 by Richard Blackburn on land overlooking Neabsco Creek near present day Woodbridge, and named for Blackburn's birthplace in Yorkshire, England. The Georgian plantation house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places and the Virginia Landmarks Register in 1971, and the 42 acre property is now owned and maintained by Prince William County as a historic house museum, open to the public on a seasonal schedule alongside its surrounding grounds.
