Capt. John Halstead Farm is a historic home and farm on Whitewater Road near Kesslers Cross Lanes in Nicholas County, West Virginia, built about 1876 as an example of the local type of residence and subsistence farm. The two-story, side-gabled house has a rear two-story gabled wing and a full-length two-story porch across its front, continued along the side of the rear wing. On its 3.6-acre grounds the farm retains a gable-roofed tool shed, a small barn, a long narrow chicken coop, an outhouse and a large barn as contributing structures. The farm was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on December 15, 1998.
