The villa stands in the affluent Strandvejen neighborhood of Midtbyen, south of Marselisborg, with the Havreballe Forest behind it and views east to Tangkrogen and the Bay of Aarhus. The building and its surrounding estate were listed on March 2, 1983 by the predecessor of the Danish Heritage Agency.
