Standards and Building Code Organizations

Organizations that set the technical standards, codes and certification systems buildings are designed and built to: the American Institute of Steel Construction, the International Code Council and the U.S. Green Building Council. Belongs here: any organization whose primary role is publishing or administering a technical standard, building code or certification system. Does not belong here: a professional body that represents architects but does not itself set binding technical standards, grouped under professional bodies and federations.
