The Archbishop's Palace in Kosice, Slovakia, is a Rococo and Neoclassical building formed in 1809 from four adjoining houses on Hlavna Street, once host to the Austro-Hungarian Emperor Franz Joseph I during visits in 1851 and 1857. Restored after a fire in 1841, it became the official residence and administrative seat of the Roman Catholic Archbishopric of Kosice when Pope John Paul II raised the diocese to an archbishopric in 1995.
