Asphodel Plantation is a Greek Revival house about three and a half miles south of Jackson, Louisiana, on LA 68, completed around 1830 for cotton planter Benjamin Kendrick as a gift to his wife Caroline. The symmetrical fourteen-room house has six Doric columns across its front and two front doors. The plantation house and its cemetery, on 51.4 acres, were added to the National Register of Historic Places on November 15, 1972.
