Barboursville is the ruin of the mansion built for James Barbour, a former United States Senator, Secretary of War and Governor of Virginia, in Barboursville, Virginia. The house was designed by Thomas Jefferson, Barbour's friend and political ally, and its ruin, now on the property of Barboursville Vineyards, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
