Bishop's House, also called the Bishop's Palace or the Pompallier Diocesan Centre, is the residence of the Catholic Bishop of Auckland in Ponsonby, New Zealand, built between 1893 and 1894 to the Late Gothic Revival design of architect Peter Paul Pugin. The two story, H shaped, dark red brick building has housed every bishop of Auckland since its completion and is considered the finest example of Pugin architecture in New Zealand, with interior features including French encaustic tile floors, early electric lighting and a chapel with a marble altar. It was registered as a Category 1 historic place by Heritage New Zealand in 2013.
