The Palace of Monimail, also called Monimail Tower, was a Renaissance residence in Fife, Scotland, used by the Archbishops of St Andrews from the 13th century and later, by the early 1600s, by the Melville family. It stood about four kilometers north of Ladybank at the junction of the main roads linking St Andrews, Perth and Stirling, but was abandoned in the late 1600s and most of its buildings were demolished. A single three story tower with a basement survives within the grounds of Melville House, restored between the 1990s and 2000s by the Monimail Tower Preservation Trust; a 1993 archaeological investigation found the remains of an adjacent corner tower and curtain wall. The surviving tower is a Category A listed building, and an intentional community now occupies the surrounding gardens.
