Cedar Grove is a historic plantation house near Providence Forge in New Kent County, Virginia. Its main section, a two and a half story, single pile brick structure, was built about 1810 in a traditional one-room, side-hall plan, with a frame section added about 1916; a contributing smokehouse and several sheds from that later period also stand on the property. The house was the residence of the Christian family, prominent in the county from colonial through early Republican times, and its nineteenth-century cemetery holds the graves of the Christian family, including Letitia Christian Tyler, first wife of President John Tyler.
