Chestnut Grove was an eighteenth-century plantation house on the Pamunkey River near New Kent Court House in New Kent County, Virginia, built around 1730 by John Dandridge and Frances Jones as a two-story frame dwelling with a hip roof and end chimneys. It is best known as the childhood home of Martha Washington and the site of her 1750 marriage to Daniel Parke Custis. The house passed out of the Dandridge family in 1768 and was destroyed by fire in November 1926.
