Chris Mark Castle is a large residential mock castle in Neo-Gothic style on Brickyard Road near Woodstock, Connecticut, built by Christopher W. Mark, an heir to the Clayton Mark steel-manufacturing fortune who runs his own manufacturing and import-export business. Construction began in 2003 and the house received its certificate of occupancy in 2010. The property has been repeatedly listed for sale since 2014, with asking prices ranging as high as 45 million dollars and down to 26 million dollars by August 2023 without a sale completing, and it has drawn media attention for its scale and unusual architecture as well as occasional use in film and media projects.
