David Rayfiel House

The David Rayfiel House, also known as the Sacandaga Glass House, is a historic home at Day in Saratoga County, New York, on the southern shore of the Great Sacandaga Lake in the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains. Built in 1958 to a design by George Lawrence Moore for screenwriter David Rayfiel, the one-and-a-half-story Modern Movement house is 23 feet wide by 20 feet deep, with a glass curtain wall on a concrete foundation, brick end walls and a flat roof with metal capping; it is often compared to Philip Johnson's Glass House in New Canaan, Connecticut. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on November 10, 2009.
