Doles Ash is a farm in Dorset, England, a few kilometres east of Piddletrenthide and south of Plush. It is notable chiefly for its identification as the model for Flintcomb-Ash, the harsh farm in Thomas Hardy's novel Tess of the d'Urbervilles, where the heroine Tess is set to work digging swedes alongside her friend Marian. Doles Ash remains an active farm; the source consulted gives no construction date, architectural style or listing information for its farmhouse.
