Elm Ridge Plantation

Elm Ridge Plantation, also known as the Hatch House or Holbrook House, is a one-story raised cottage-style plantation house built around 1836 in rural Hale County near Greensboro, Alabama, on grounds that once relied on the forced labor of enslaved people. Its 35-acre grounds include five further contributing buildings and one contributing structure alongside the main house, whose design reflects a mid-nineteenth-century revival taste. The property was added to the Alabama Register of Landmarks and Heritage in 1990 and to the National Register of Historic Places in 1991.
