Estate Little Princess

Estate Little Princess is a former sugar and rum plantation northwest of Christiansted on Saint Croix in the U.S. Virgin Islands, first owned by Governor Frederik Moth from 1738, with construction on the property dating to 1749. The 19.6-acre remnant of an original 200-acre holding includes a building that served as a Danish hospital and a great house built in the 1800s, along with plantation ruins such as a windmill and factory ruins, and was added to the National Register of Historic Places on June 9, 1980. Since 2011 it has served as headquarters for the Nature Conservancy's Eastern Caribbean and Virgin Islands programs, combining a nature preserve with historical exhibits.
