Fountain Lake Farm, also known as the Wisconsin Farm Home of John Muir, is a historic farm and National Historic Landmark in rural Montello, Marquette County, Wisconsin. Muir's father established the farm around 1849 on land that was then essentially undeveloped wilderness, and the future conservationist lived there from 1849 to 1856 and again from 1860 to 1862, exploring the property and adjoining Fountain Lake in experiences that shaped his conservation philosophy. No structures from Muir's own occupancy survive, but the landmarked 80 acre tract, bounded by Gillette Drive to the north, is preserved partly as private land and partly as John Muir Memorial County Park, with trails encircling the lake.
