Goodwood Plantation is a former cotton plantation on about 1,675 acres in Leon County, Florida, near Tallahassee. Hardy Croom began developing the property after buying land from the Lafayette Land Grant in 1833; after his death in 1837, his brother Bryan Croom completed the roughly 10,000 square foot main house, finished around 1850 in the Italianate style, which later owners partly remodeled with Georgian style columns in place of its original ironwork. Added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1972, the house is now a historic house museum operated by Goodwood Museum and Gardens, Inc., displaying original family furniture, porcelain, textiles, glassware and art alongside personal effects from the World War One era.
