Greenwood is a historic plantation house in Culpeper, Culpeper County, Virginia, consisting of a one and a half story, three bay center block dating to the late 18th or early 19th century with one story wings added in 1823 to 1824. The original section has a hall parlor plan. In 1825 the house received the Marquis de Lafayette and former President James Monroe as visitors during Lafayette celebrated tour as guest of the nation, and during the American Civil War Federal troops occupied the house and placed a cannon on the lawn.
