Isaac T. Hopper House

The Isaac T. Hopper House is a Greek Revival townhouse at 110 Second Avenue in the East Village neighborhood of Manhattan, New York City, built in 1837 to 1838 as a three and a half story rowhouse with a brownstone basement and brick upper facade, the only survivor of an original group of four such houses. The Women's Prison Association bought the building in 1874 and operated it through the twentieth century as a halfway house for women recently released from prison. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1986 and designated a New York City landmark in 2009.
