Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban is the parliament house of Bangladesh, located at Sher-e-Bangla Nagar in Dhaka and designed by the American architect Louis Kahn. Originally commissioned for the parliament of what was then East Pakistan, it became the seat of Bangladesh's legislature after independence and, covering roughly 840,000 square metres, is counted among the largest legislative complexes in the world.
