Kent Plantation House, in Alexandria, Rapides Parish, Louisiana, is the oldest standing structure in central Louisiana and has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1971. The bousillage Creole house, together with its restored period outbuildings, represents southern plantation life between 1795 and 1855 and today operates as a showcase for visitors.
