Kizhi Pogost is a historic religious enclosure dating from the seventeenth century on Kizhi Island in Lake Onega, in the Republic of Karelia, Russia. Within its fenced grounds stand two large wooden churches and a bell tower, built entirely of wood, and it was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1990.
