The Kuala Lumpur railway station is a Malaysian railway station in Kuala Lumpur, constructed beginning in 1910 and completed in 1917 on the site of an earlier station. It served as the city's railway hub for the Federated Malay States Railways and its successor Keretapi Tanah Melayu until Kuala Lumpur Sentral took over much of that role in 2001, and it is noted architecturally for blending Eastern and Western design elements.
