Llangollen Farm

Llangollen Farm is a roughly 1,085-acre horse and cattle estate in western Loudoun County, Virginia, near Upperville at the base of the Blue Ridge Mountains, with a manor house built in the late 1770s on land from a 10,000-acre colonial grant. Under owner Liz Whitney beginning in 1930, the farm became a major Thoroughbred and hunt-horse breeding and training center with extensive barns, tracks, and paddocks; Roy and Lila Ash bought and restored the property in 1989, and it sold for 22 million dollars in 2007. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2017.
