Montpelier Mansion, also known as the Snowden-Long House, is a five-part Georgian plantation house south of Laurel in Prince George's County, Maryland, built between 1781 and 1785 by Major Thomas Snowden and Anne Ridgely on what was once a roughly 9,000-acre plantation worked by enslaved people. Its distinctive design combines a central block with flanking pavilions joined by connecting hyphens. Designated a National Historic Landmark in 1970, the mansion now operates as a house museum on the surviving seventy acres of the estate.
