Mount Hope is a plantation house at 1 Cheverly Circle in the town of Cheverly, Prince George's County, Maryland. The two-story, five-bay frame house was built in several stages: a three-bay west section around 1834, incorporating an earlier overseer's cabin of about 1782, with a two-bay addition to the east built in the 1860s after the Civil War, and a one-story kitchen wing dating from around the 1830s built on earlier foundations. A broad front porch, a three-bay garage and a screened porch were added in the early twentieth century.
