Notre-Dame du Haut is a Roman Catholic chapel in Ronchamp, France, built in 1955 and considered one of the finest examples of the work of the French-Swiss architect Le Corbusier. Blessed in 1955 and consecrated in 2005, it remains a working religious building under the guardianship of the private foundation Association de l'Oeuvre de Notre-Dame du Haut, drawing 80,000 visitors a year, and in 2016 it was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List together with sixteen other works by Le Corbusier for its importance to the development of modernist architecture.
