Oak Hill is a Federal-style mansion and former plantation near Aldie, Virginia, that served for twenty-two years as a home of President James Monroe. The main house was built in the years 1820 to 1822 and is distinguished by a pentastyle portico. The property was named a National Historic Landmark in 1960 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1966, and it also appears on the Virginia Landmarks Register.
