The Parlange Plantation House is a historic plantation house at the junction of Louisiana Highway 1 and Louisiana Highway 78 in Pointe Coupee Parish, Louisiana, and a classic example of a large French Colonial plantation house in the United States. Its construction date is disputed: oral history places both the plantation's founding and the house's construction around 1750, but scholarly research accepts only the founding date, finding strong evidence the house itself was built between 1830 and 1840.
