The Priest's House, Muchelney

The Priest's House is a National Trust property in Muchelney, Somerset, England, built in the early fourteenth century by the nearby Muchelney Abbey to house the parish priest. Over the centuries the thatched stone building deteriorated and served variously as a school and as farm storage before the Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings campaigned for its restoration; it is now designated a Grade I listed building, rented to a tenant, and open to the public on a limited basis.
