Province House in Halifax, Nova Scotia, is the building where the Nova Scotia House of Assembly, the legislative assembly of the province, has met every year since 1819, making it the longest serving legislative building in Canada. The building is considered the oldest house of government in Canada. Standing three storeys tall, the structure is regarded as one of the finest examples of Palladian architecture in North America.
