The Pyramid of Khafre, also known as the Pyramid of Chephren, is the middle of the three great pyramids of Giza and the second tallest and second largest of the group. It is the tomb of the Fourth Dynasty pharaoh Khafre, who ruled around 2558 to 2532 BC. It is the only one of the three Giza pyramids that still retains its original limestone cladding near its summit.
