The Pyramid of Senusret III is an ancient Egyptian pyramid at Dahshur, built for pharaoh Senusret III of the Twelfth Dynasty. It is the northernmost of the Dahshur pyramids, standing about 1.5 kilometers northeast of Sneferu's Red Pyramid, and was built on leveled ground with a mudbrick core covered by a casing of white Tura limestone. The French Egyptologist Jacques de Morgan first excavated it in 1894, reaching the burial chamber through a tunnel originally dug by ancient tomb robbers, and Dieter Arnold led a more recent excavation campaign during the 1990s.
