Retiro is a railway station complex in Buenos Aires, Argentina, combining three separate terminals, Retiro-Mitre, Retiro-Belgrano and Retiro-San Martin, together with an underground station of the same name. It opened on August 1, 1915, on Ramos Mejia Avenue in the Retiro neighborhood, close to the country's largest bus terminal and to the Port of Buenos Aires, and today has 19 platforms serving both commuter and long distance trains. More commuter trains arrive and depart from Retiro than from any other station in the city, and its long distance services connect Buenos Aires to cities including Rosario, Tucuman and Cordoba, while also linking directly to Lines C and E of the Buenos Aires Underground.
