Rose Glen is an antebellum plantation house at 1801 Old Newport Highway near the Harrisburg community in Sevierville, Tennessee, on the east bank of the Middle Prong Little Pigeon River. It was built between 1846 and 1850 for Dr. Robert Hatton Hodsden and his wife Mary Brabson-Shields as a tripartite Greek Revival villa, with a two-story central block flanked by one-story wings, modeled on architect Minard Lafever's published country villa designs. The house was once the center of one of the largest and most lucrative farms in East Tennessee. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975, the eight-acre property retains several outbuildings, including a double-cantilever barn, smokehouse, springhouse, silo, and physician's office, preserved by Hodsden's descendants.
