Rosewell was a plantation house in Gloucester County, Virginia, begun in 1725 as the home of a branch of the Page family, one of the First Families of Virginia. Built of Flemish bond brick overlooking the York River, it was one of the most elaborate houses in the American colonies and remained the Page family's home for more than a century. The site survives today as an archaeological site.
